The LINES collection is rooted in line and counting. Fasano documents every line with careful notations, marking the number of lines, but also the number weight or color of the pencil used. The scale is small, lending itself to graph paper. Many pieces resemble a woven type pattern, represented in a miniature likeness. There is a perfect juxtaposition between the perfect order within the grid, and the line and color applied on top. These works include graphite pencil, colored pencil, and watercolor pencil.
