SCRATCHBOARD is a stiff board material that allows for repetitive and intricate work to show. Fasano uses metal tools and Japanese India Inks to scratch, rub, brush and reveal the gradation of shape and color. Several of these works are studies in exploring color. These works include scratchboard, Japanese India inks, and graphite pencil.
